The thing I dislike most about this work is its maker’s premise: ‘the more I read the smaller I feel’.
I know it is meant to be about the universe expanding around us, but to those less philosophical types it comes across as a negative comment about reading. Not really something I want a government to promote!

Makes me wonder whether the new Art Hysterical category should be “Bum Art” given the number of lumpy bronze bums that now litter our civic spaces? And if it’s bronze it must be OK, yes? I just can’t bring myself to post pictures of them all…
